Barbicide Disinfectant

Barbicide disinfectant is one of the products used in a hospital/Dr's office setting to clean reusable items that are not used in invasive procedures. After using it for 30 years at work, I have been buying it to use at home for items such as combs, brushes and hair accessories. It's nice to give them a good cleaning every other month or so, especially if you have multiple people in your home who share those items. You need to have 1 container that you do not use for anything else when you allow those items to soak. It's best to wear gloves when using it. I keep a plastic shoe storage container for use with it and keep it labeled as for use with it only, so no one uses it in between the soaks. The smell is not the most pleasant, but it not very offensive like other cleaning products.
