AluPro's innovative 5-layer Ti-X coating features three layers of enhanced nonstick coating, a Plasma Primer for superior resistance to metal utensils, and a protective layer that prevents peeling, blistering, corrosion and abrasions. Quick releasing and easy to clean, this high-performance, coating will last for a long time.
Made from extremely pure aluminum, the 5mm thick cold forged body heats up rapidly and evenly for perfect frying and even browning. Lightweight aluminum eliminates arm strain along with the ergonomic stay-cool handles that are comfortable to grip. Along with flared rims that prevent pouring spills, these user-friendly details make these nonstick pans ideal for everyday use.
AluPro works all cooking surfaces - gas, electric, glass, and induction. TriplInduc technology by Demeyere makes this aluminum pan induction compatible and 30% more efficient than competitors. The durable Ti-X non-stick coating makes this pan oven and broiler safe up to 500F.

Very Good Purchase for Me
I really like this pan. I have a regular 9-½ inch which is several years old and has help up very well. But I find I am using the deep pan (11 inch) for many things - having the higher height side comes in useful for browning meats, cooking bacon, etc. I have an induction cooktop and it works wonderfully .

Manages Heat Well. Great for Deep Frying
Because this pan takes up and maintains heat so well, it is a great pan for deep frying. When I have a small batch to fry, I often turn to a deeper skillet. It's easier on the clean up, uses less oil and faster because everything heats up more quickly. My mom's skillet fried chicken, potato chips, tortilla chips, tempura, French fries, all in a skillet. This AluPro 11-inch is a good option since it cleans up so easily and holds the heat so well. It can also double as a conventional skillet and sometimes dessert maker - Dutch babies and Tarte Tatin come out perfectly in this pan.
