Ashley Furniture Budmore 60"" TV Stand in Rustic Brown

We have several other Budmore pieces in our living room (larger TV Stand and two end tables. We have been pleased with the quality and functionality of all the products. We use the new 50” stand for the electronics under our main TV and converted the 70” TV Stand we originally purchased into a stand for our 75 gallon fish tank. They look great together in our space.

We installed the tv on the wall, but wanted a cabinet below to protect it, and put the center speaker. The tv is 76" wide. This cabinet fit the bill. I love the sliding doors on the sides to hide dvds and a video game (I know, oldschool, but I'm not tossing them even though we stream many new ones these days). The center shelves are adjustable even if the product details says they are not! They do have shelf pins and holes, so we could fit the center speaker on the top shelf. If you look at the instructions for putting it together, you'll see the holes on those two vertical boards. It wasn't too difficult to put together, although we did need to move one preassembled clip which took a little drill, but it wasn't difficult. There are two flip down supports on the underside of the bottom board, with spring action. With the size of the unit, 70", those are fairly important to keep it from sagging. There are only 6 furniture bolts to assemble, the rest uses already attached metal clips and metal slots. It looks beautiful even if it is made with particle board plus wood veneer. It is heavy though, so when and if we move one day, I saved the instructions to possibly take it apart. Or the next owners of the house will buy it with the house because the love the media room.
