Michelin Primacy Tour A/S Tire

The Michelin Primacy Tour A/S is a Grand Touring All-Season tire developed for the drivers of family sedans, coupes, crossovers and SUVs looking to maximize ride and noise comfort and maintain year-round traction. The Primacy Tour A/S is designed to deliver a premium driving experience combined with all-season capability, even in light snow. The five-rib pattern of the Primacy Tour A/S's asymmetric tread design is tuned to provide the refined, quiet ride expected of a luxury touring tire.

Wide outboard shoulder blocks aid dry handling and lateral grip, and sweeping grooves help evacuate water for hydroplaning resistance. Zigzag sipes located in the center and inboard ribs, as well as the inside shoulder, provide traction in snow and on ice. The internal construction of the Primacy Tour A/S consists of a two-ply, polyester cord casing that promotes ride comfort, and two steel belts stabilize the tread. A single, polyamide reinforcement aids handling and delivers high-speed capability.

These tires are definitely worth the extra cost!

I needed a new set of tires for my 2017 FORD Edge; however, I had never purchased MICHELIN tires before so the brand was new to me. My primary requirement is for a summer tire which handles well in the city and on the highway. I live in Edmonton so good handling in wet conditions is not a priority. I have had these for about 2 weeks now and have driven them in the city and on the highway (1000 Km). In both situations the tires handled extremely well; I am very impressed with the how quiet and smooth the ride is. I look forward to many more miles of driving pleasure with these tires! I recommend them unreservedly.
