I've only been out one time with this rod and caught a6.3 pound lightning rainbow trout at oak grove park in Stockton,Ca. On November 16,2024 at there Trout Derby this year !the rod handled the fish with easy on a 2500 Sedona (Shimano) fishing reel ! 10 lb vicious hi-vis yellow braided main line,red plastic beed/1/8 oz. Eagle Claw egg sinker ! The rod was ment to fish for king Salmon in San Francisco Bay Area,but i just wanted to get it wet,Lol !
