You can always trust Proctor-Silex products. I've been using this brand name since my 20's, I'm over 70 now. It is very easy to use and easy to learn, and clean. I had to wait awhile to receive it but it was worth the wait. I would recommend any of their products. Very functional. I'll use it a lot.

Perfect For Bird Pellets!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been grinding my parrot's pellets with a mortar and pestle for months. He does not like eating the pellets whole so I break them down for him into practically a powder form because he is spoiled! Very happy with this grinder, takes just seconds to grind his food to the perfect consistency versus doing it by hand! Seems like it will hood up as well. Easy to wipe down and can be used for coffee beans, herbs, spices, and even bird food!!! Easy to use as you just put the lid on, press the button, and grind! You just feel easy the button to stop it so you can pulse or hold down for a continuous fine grind. I am going to use it for my chia seeds I use in smoothies and also for sesame that I use for hummus! The stainless blades seem durable enough and long lasting.
