Out of the box the chromebook was clean and had some wear which was expected being refurbished equipment. That's no problem, I did notice that once setup started I received a notification that the chromebook will not recieve new updates. I should've done more research on the model whether or not it's still receiving patches. Overall my kid is happy she her own device. So I'm happy as well for the price point and the device.
