If you are looking to find a watch for outdoor or active use, this one is great! The material design is very durable and waterproof and works well for hiking, sports, or camping, and the clasps are very secure to keep the watch from falling off. Likewise, the screen is fingerprint resistant and doesn't show smudges or scuffs, and the included tin case is great to protect it during transport. The illumination setting makes it also accessible for night-time use, but I wish the actual watch screen would light up instead of just shining light on the physical clock hands. The watch already comes set up for most functions, but I would definitely recommend reading the instruction manual when setting the time! The watch cycles between multiple time zones, which could be helpful with travel, but it made things a little more difficult during initial setup. And I appreciate that while there is no physical second hand, there is still an electronic second counter for easy timekeeping. As for the size of the watch itself, the watch face looks very large for smaller wrists like mine, but the watch band is still one-size-fits-all. Altogether, this watch is great for active use, and the included functions are perfect for all of your timekeeping needs!

This watch is massive! It's useful for many things, has many features that I can use but so much is built into it that I doubt I will ever fully understand. The instruction manual is very thick and can be a little bit confusing. Not everything is covered in the print version but the online version is far more helpful and makes more sense. The automatic settings are very useful but I would like to be able to set the time manually because you can't always find the instructions in the manual. There are some things I don't like about this watch. For one, the light isn't the best and can make viewing the time very difficult. I don't think there is a way to change the time display from black background and white numbers to white background and black numbers. The watch can be painful on your wrist, especially if you have that one bone that sticks out. It can also be very difficult to change daylight savings time from on to off and you have to refer to the manual in order to do so. More to love than not. Really cool case and awesome colors and features. Casio has always been a reliable brand and it's good to see this particular model making a comeback in both civilian and military applications. Excellent watch and more useful than I will probably ever realize.
