Loving this

I love this pot it cooks so evenly as well it's none stick. The pot is great and looks great it is very fashionable as well as it not light but not to heavy. So easy to clean. I made pasta and fried French fries and everything came out so good and perfect. The pot has hybrid technology so well crafted and being stainless steel. I would definitely buy the set.

Expensive but so worth it!

I ABSOLUTELY love this pot! Be warned that it is heavy on it's own and really heavy when you have it full. It is very sturdy and is not the type of pan that feels like it is going to fall apart in your hand. The construction is SOLID. I love that it is dual materials so I can use whatever utensils in it that I like. Better yet, my kids can use whatever utensils in it that they grab and I don't have to be the utensil police and try to control what they are using. I couldn't believe how study this was packaged either. It was in a box and each piece was in it's own individual drawstring sack. Very secure! I really liked that the company was conscious of the quality of their product and ensure that it would arrive unscathed. I used this the first time for spaghetti. I intentionally let it sit out over night so that the sauce would get hard and stick on the pan. When I was ready to wash it, I soaked it for maybe 2 minutes. Really, I didn't even soak it. I put some water in the bottom of the pan and used a washcloth and swished it around. It cleaned up so easily. Now, I'm wondering if I can convince by husband that I need a full set...

My New Favorite Pot

I can't say enough good things about this pot! First of all, if you are considering giving it as a gift, it arrives looking like a million bucks. It's packaged in a nice box with the pot and lid individually enclosed in drawstring bags. The instructions do suggest seasoning the pot - that seemed strange to me; although I'm very familiar with cast iron cookware which requires seasoning (and sometimes re-seasoning). I did follow the instructions and heat a little oil before beginning to use this one. First thing I cooked was oatmeal - which often sticks in the bottom of my previous favorite, heavy-bottomed-stainless-steel cookware. This not only did not stick, the picture I've posted is just after a spray out - didn't even touch it with a sponge or cloth and it came away like it had been scoured. I made a cheesy dish and allowed the cheese to cool before trying to wash it and that one did require a bit of rubbing - although not much at all. The instructions say you can use metal spoons and I have tried that a little bit - although it scares me based on previous experience with non-stick cookware. Still, the limited amount I've used metal spoons have made not marks at all in the hex-clad interior. Only negative I can mention is the weight. It's a heavy piece - that's good for cooking but hard on the wrists. I highly recommend this little pot.
