This was the only sink I could purchase as a replacement given a very specific size requirement and style of the sink I had to replace in the kitchen of the home I purchased. The sink itself overall is a nice product, but the faucet it came with leaves a lot to be desired. After about one year of regular kitchen use, it needed to be replaced due to two issues. First, the faucet itself would pop off from the base occasionally, leading to a messy spray of water all over the kitchen. This would occur when turning the rotating the faucet to reach different parts of the sink while in use and the water turned on. As a work around, we would need to shut off the water first, then rotate the spout before turning the water back on. This began after about one year of use. There seems to be no way to firmly secure this faucet spout to the base. There is a rivet on the back of the faucet's base, but no way to fasten the faucet spout to where it connects with the base as this rivet is smooth, meaning it can't be tightened and there is nothing inside the faucet's base such as a peg to create tension and maintain the base and faucet spout stay connected together. I attempted using Teflon tape combined silicone puddy to create a tighter seal, but this not strong enough to overcome the water pressure shooting the top of the faucet off and then water spraying up to the ceiling and across my counter. The second issue was the cartridge in the faucet handle which regulates the temperature and water flow. This recently broke leading to the faucet not working entirely after about 14 months after install. With these two issues occurring, the best solution was to replace the faucet entirely. Given the high cost of the sink and faucet as a combo, along with difficulty locating the correct cartridge style for this model to make the faucet's handle functionable again, I would have preferred to only purchase the sink basin if there was an option to do so.
