great power and no problem with battery dying during extended times without vehicle use. only problem is post were not on top like factory battery, had some L brackets that were supplied to make cables work. very hard to tighten cables on brackets because it uses nuts and bolts. had to get creative to get nuts started!very good battery though. -m-2008 POLARIS SPORTSMAN 800 H.O. Installed dual batter system in my 2018 and 2016 Turbo Rzr 4 seater(s). The dual battery provides safety in riding/racing on long trips to ensure engine/start battery is not depleted during operations using lots of accessories. We have intake blower, belt blower, rear light bar, front light bar, side lights, dual whips, radio, inner cab communication, helmet fresh air system, Nav, as well as factory lights. The batteries and dual system have performed flawlessly. NOTE: 2016 Rzr has a defect in their stator to battery cable/wire...its too small diameter (12 or 14 gauge) and will overheat and melt...ours melted in the connector between stator and battery cable. We troubleshot this problem for months as we could not see the melted part as it was internal to the connector. Separated the connector and it was easy to see. Replaced cable and connector with after market 10 gauge harness and now pushing 14.7 volts off stator with no charging problem. This defect was corrected on the 2017 and 2018 Rzr models but Polaris doesn't address it so you have to fix it yourself or get them to under extended warranty...maybe. Bottom-line: These batteries are bullet proof and the Genesis Dual battery system is a must for the long driving/heavy accessory cars. NOTE: Dual battery system drops right in and takes about 40 minutes to install if you are taking your time.
