Design Toscano Large Leaping Sea Dolphin Statue

Had to return the first one after discovering a crack in the tail. Second one was good but dolphin doesn’t seat firmly enough to the anchor point on the base and wobbles slightly. The base itself isn’t nearly heavy enough and the whole statue would easily topple with the first moderate gust of wind outdoors. That said, once you solve that problem at home via adding additional base weight, statute to base anchors, etc, it’s a nice looking item and fairly sturdy. Perhaps the smaller dolphin with a much lower center of gravity doesn’t have the same issues. In any case, he company that designed the base for the larger statue should have recognized this problem immediately and mitigated it before going into production...common sense.
