Out if sight, out of mind

A kitchen remodel had me searching a distributor of sinks, faucets and other plumbing related products. I found a display showing the magnetic kitchen sink implement holders and purchased the 3 styles they offered at the time. 4 years later, I dropped a magnet in the tile floor and it split apart. I am ordering a replacement because the product performs well.

Does not last

I purchased a magnetic sponge holder for my sink a few years ago. All it does it stay attached to the side of my sink and hold a sponge. The plastic surrounding the magnet does not last - it has split into 2 pieces and is no longer functional. A replacement magnet costs nearly as much as the entire original sponge holder.
