A desperate lady who wishes every day for this!
This original foundation in the round bottle without the comfort serum was absolute perfection. It lasted all day wihout separating, going patchy or looking cakey. I always had so many compliments about how amazing my skin and makeup looked, i have used this for over 10 years. It was effortless to apply, a thin layer applied after moisturiser using only my fingers still looked flawless or for more coverage I would use a beauty blender and it was always the best foundation and colour match I could find without that dreaded orange tint on the high street, it even looked better than my Estee lauder double wear for it's natural but glowy finish without being oily. I recommended this foundation to family and friends all the time my 3 sisters my mom and my auntie all started using it and so have multiple friends and all love it and miss it too. I hunt for this product on sites that sell discontinued makeup and any ivory/true ivory i find i buy every bottle available. It made my mornings so much simpler without having to apply primers and concealer I could just wear this straight from the bottle and cover my whole face and id come home after a 12 hour shift still looking fresh. The new product in the square bottle is the total opposite,a complete disaster that leaves me looking horrendous after only 3 hours wear, the colour is way off, the smell is horrible, the consistency is almost chalky and it is not durable in the slightest it makes my skin look aged as it sirs in every crease and fine line and im only 31. Please please please bring this back.
Bring back it back!! The original 25HR foundation was perfect lightweight, smooth, natural, and long wearing without ever feeling heavy or cakey. It was one of the very few drugstore foundations that genuinely performed better than high end brands. And now? The reformulation is a complete step backwards. The new formula is drying, cakey, and sits on the skin like a mask. You can feel it on your face, which never happened with the original. Instead of that seamless, breathable finish, it now clings to texture, exaggerates pores, and breaks apart. It’s honestly shocking how far the quality dropped. What’s even more frustrating is that customers are being forced to spend ridiculous amounts of money trying to find a replacement. I’ve bought Fenty, Estée Lauder, and other high end options trying to replace what Rimmel took away — and they don’t compare. The original 25HR beat them all. The fact that a drugstore brand had a cult favorite formula and then ruined it is beyond disappointing. Right now, Rimmel is literally pushing loyal customers into other brands’ pockets. People aren’t just annoyed they’re fed up. The tone across reviews is frustration, disappointment, and disbelief that such a perfect formula was changed without explanation. The original 25HR foundation didn’t make you feel like you were wearing makeup. It didn’t cake, didn’t dry you out, didn’t separate, and didn’t make you look like a clown. It was reliable, comfortable, and flattering on real skin. The new version is none of those things. Rimmel, please listen: bring back the original formula. You had one of the best foundations on the market drugstore or high‑end and customers are telling you loud and clear that the new version is not it. I dont want your coupon you sent me when I called you. Because nothing you're offering i want to pay for coupon or not.

Fantastic foundation
This is a beautiful, full coverage, long lasting foundation. It blurs pores and texture. Does not budge all day long. I wear glasses and found minimal wear in the areas where my frames rest. Highly recommend for normal to oily skin. Sadly this doesn’t work like it used to on my mature drier skin. I will miss it. Passing it on to a friend who will greatly appreciate it. Dear Rimmel, please release a dewy version.
