Use McKesson multi-parameter chemical indicator strips for monitoring steam sterilizers. They're suitable for steam sterilizers that operate at temperatures between 250 and 285 degrees Fahrenheit (121 - 140 degrees Celsius). This class 1 indicator strip shows a color change from blue to black when it's exposed to the steam sterilization process. By placing the steam indicator strip inside the pack to be sterilized, the indicator shows by the change in color that sterilization was successful. The chemical indicator strip is 4 in long. There is space on the strips for operators to write the date and their names for recording purposes. Each strip is latex-free and for single use.
