My package was delayed so if you need this by a certain time order ahead. The item is delivered in regular brown shipping box and does not come in store packaging inside. If you are ordering this for a gift you will need to make sure not to cut the ties on the outside of the box it helps in transport. I know a lot of reviews say that it's not good quality and I was worried about that but no need to. I would definitely buy this again. For reference I purchase this as a gift for my 3yr grandson and he loves it.
