The mini coop is a good idea.

My chicks are still in the brooder, but I plan to use this mini coop for the cockerel. I also plan to put it out for all of them when they are free range. I love the fact that it is moveable, no assembly, and easy to clean.

Works great!

I saw some negative reviews on this item and I had already ordered it. It arrived promptly and has worked like a charm. My chicken loves it. I did glue three 1"x1/2"x 6" wooden sticks where the steps are for better traction as the steps into the coop were a challenge for my hen. It is easy to clean by spraying with the hose and easy to set up. I would suggest two chickens at the max for this little coop.
