Overcoming First Time Jitters Installing SSD

IT WORKS! Was worried at first when heatsink didn't smoothly fit sandwiched together with the pads on its sides. Had to press firm %26 tighten screws in zigzag pattern. I installed it incorrectly at first. Then took it apart to make sure I felt and heard a slight click. Youtube video showed people installing it flat. I sat mine up on my lap to make sure screw %26 spacer lined up with SSD and tightened the screw. Put it together for 2nd time and now its recognized and I had to format it and it works! Yo! It did not come with adequate instructions for PS5 installation. Though compatible with PS5, I needed to watch a youtube video here: https://youtu.be/bdZophsgiJI I compared it to the image on the Walmart site I purchased it from and was at ease with the heat sink assembling. I am not taking out the SSD to take a photo of it. Take my words for it. There are a lot of them %26 enjoy.

I purchased this Fanxiang 2tb pcie 4.0 nvme ssd to use in my PS5. I had a Samsung pro 1tb ssd in there but I was using up the space fast on it. The Fanxiang had great specs like the Samsung so I moved the Samsung pro into my laptop to double its storage from 500gb to 1tb. The Fanxiang works great and the performance of the PS5 is the same as it was when the Samsung pro was in there. Great value as well for a 2tb PCIe 4.0 NVMe ssd!😁
