Can't wait!

The only concern I have is I when I purchased the fireplace, it was during the summer in the middle of a heat wave. The thermastat reaches 90 degrees and it was already that in the room so the heat feature didn't come on because the room was so hot(per customer srvc rep). I am waiting until it cools down some to try it out.

A Good Wood Burning Alternative

I have been impressed with this unit. I use it behind a screen and keep it on the lower flame settings where it passes as a real flame from a distance. Although because, my first floor is so open, I use it primarily for the visual effect. Wiring it directly into 220 does provide a decent amount of heat. I am very pleased with the level of control I have over the look and temperature of the fireplace. Also, for aesthetic reasons, I opted not to connect the wall-mounted thermostat. Everything but the temperature can be controlled by remote, and I find that I never change the temperature anyway.

Yes I would buy this product again

This is my first all electric fireplace and it took the place of a wood burner the only draw back is that in a power outage it doesn't work but I plan on getting a genset to power it in that event so there's no down side to owning one it's certainly cleaner
