WOW

i bought this 50gal for my mice because reptile tanks are cheaper than aquariums and i hate reaching down and in. i was very excited to receive this, was counting the hours all week long. the videos they show putting this together (on youtube) makes it look way easier than it actually is. it took me 3 hours to set it up because the instructions really arent that good. They also don't make it clear that the top only goes one way--making me lose another half hour. i also don't see a point to use the lock, almost at all. the only way to open it from the inside would be to pull the glass inwards. no animal i know of is capable of that. Even if they DID have instructions on how to install the lock--i wouldn't use it. my final complain is i wish the lid wasn't so shakey (it rattles with movement bc the mesh isn't fully secured to the lid) and that the mesh was sliiiightly bigger. If you want to hang something from the lid you have to puncture the mesh with scissors or a knife. but again, this tank is by far the best I've ever had and probably ever will have. it's incredible, especially for the price. me and my girls are VERY happy.
