I recommend this plug outlet, especially for window air conditioners when you don't have much room and the plug three prong plug is far away from where you wanna put it so you have to have an extension cord that fits an air conditioner and is a three prong so this this one is a safety feature that way, if the air conditioner overheats or the socket overheats which is happened and I've had to unplug it before I got the outlet, but this is good to have that way it'll cut off the air conditioner and everything and not start a fire so always check your plugs after all tell your landlord tell whoever's does your repairs cause I really like this I wouldn't use I wouldn't use any other air conditioner or heavy duty appliance or TV without an extension plug with the safety cut off, thank
