This did not come w/ any instructions but I've assembled at least a half dozen of these style of swings so I get the gist. Usually we've bought the large round 'saucer' style versions which are brutal to assemble, especially when trying to get that last metal tube to connect and having to pry it apart while lining it up but you can't pry it apart enough and it pinches your skin. Always involved blood, sweat, and tears. This swing was the easiest to assemble by far. Maybe because the poles attach at mostly straight joints and not curves. The slight difficulty though is getting the holes in the tubes to line up for the bolts to go in when the foam covering makes it hard to get a grip on and turn to align. But I did not pinch myself or get insanely frustrated which is a win. It does not come w/ hanging hardware, just metal rings on top of the ropes. We already have a swing set with metal carabiner brackets to hang swings, so you'll have to have something like that or straps with hooks/carabiners. Even after installing multiple swings like this I still can't figure out how to lengthen the slack in the ropes through the metal brackets and get the swing to hang lower with both sides even %26 level .. you have to push up on one rope and pull down on other ropes and thread it through etc, I kept doing it wrong but my 13 year old figured it out before I did. You can choose whether or not to attach the colorful flags on the ropes, they come separate and are velcro. We wanted this style of swing material because we have another "bed" style swing like this, but it has a cushion on it and it stays sopping wet if it rains, and then the water underneath doesn't drain very well either. This has more of a dense mesh bed that seems to dry quicker. The swing is large enough for my 13 %26 11 yr old boys and they love to just hang out on it while listening to an audiobook. On average these types of swings and materials only last maybe a year or two in the Florida sun before the fabric breaks down, but they aren't super expensive so we just replace them.
