You need to read the directions regarding how long you may heat the wax and how long the warmer needs to cool before being used again. This warmer can be used two ways, warming wax melts and warming jar candles. I have been using it for warming wax melts and it has been working great. Due to how deep the warming bowl is, there is a lot less chance of spillage, which is a plus.
