For a little stereo system, I'm honestly shocked how great it is. The sound quality is awesome simply because this little guy has some umph in it. Hooked my laptop to the tv and plugged this to my laptop to watch a tv show on a bigger screen and you would've never thought the sound was coming out of such a tiny box. Love that it's easily portable and it recharges sort of like a cell phone would. WORTH EVERY PENNY. Just be careful with the battery door, I can see how someone would break it.

Great sound for a small package
To level set, the sound from this small speaker is not big and will not fill a room - you'll need something like an Ion Audio Tailgater to achieve that. However, for music while sitting at the desk or on your bedroom nightstand after a hectic day - it's perfect and more than adequate, especially at this price point. It will also help to have high quality MP3 files. My MP3 files are no smaller than 224kbps which is why I probably haven't experienced distortion at mid-to-high volume levels. All-in-all it's a quality product that performed above my expectations.
