Not sturdy or well made

I bought these 2 stools 6 months ago, and they get moderate use since we use them to take our shoes on and off when leaving and coming back home. However, after 3 months of use, the wooden board on the underside of the lid broke off BOTH stool lids. Then two months later, 2 of the legs broke off one of the stools. These are not sturdy or well made at all. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the seat material and storage is nice.
