This has always been like a motto, almost a mantra (a formula repeated several times to derive physical or spiritual benefit) throughout my career. It has always been my starting point with all the people I have helped: win back ourselves to win back everything we want.
And this is absolutely what we will do in this book: we will take this journey to help us identify our fears, understand where they come from and block them from the start. All scenarios of low self-esteem and low or no self-confidence will be represented. We will begin to see where it comes from and what is causing it. We will see how triggering situations worsen the image we have of ourselves. We will see how seeing ourselves with little value can affect all areas of our life. How many times a particular situation continues to repeat itself? Or how many times do we make the same mistakes? We should analyse each of these situations: without a shadow of a doubt, they're connected to something, in the past, that has hurt us, and that has marked us.
