Strange world when it is FREE

I have bought other slippers like these and wear them all winter long and love them. BUT one thing I do not understand is why Walmart told me that they have refunded the purchase price and that I did not have to return the item. Don't get the idea I am complaining but how is a company going to profit with such a plan!
