The metal was more decorative and thicker than I expected for the price a very good value. We have a large driveway gate that has a lot of wind resistance and the gate has been blowing open the extra support has kept our gate closed, which is very important due to the fact that we have a swimming pool, we live on the Texas coast, hurricanes and storms, having the extra gate support is very important and works beautifully.
