If you need to test silver quality frequently, then you absolutely need a reliable set of acid-testing solutions to make sure you’re identifying the quality of your silver accurately. The ToolTreaux acid testing kit comes with 2 bottles of silver testing acid solutions and a testing stone to identify the quality of your silver.

This testing solution is designed specifically to indicate whether your silver is high-quality or low-quality. A cream color indicates high quality, usually sterling; black color indicates coin quality, green color indicates high amounts of copper/poor quality; gold color indicates brass/silver plated item.

Test solutions work best in small quantities, so it’s recommended to use the neutralizing solution in small amounts for each test. Since we’ve included 2 bottles, this amount should last through many tests. Please note that this testing solution is not used to differentiate between different types of silver (example: .999, .925, .80)
