It took my husband and I a while to find an all in one machine that did everything we wanted it to. This one is amazing we can have the auto timer for him and the regular coffee in the morning and I can have my cappuccino. It will make both at the same time and the clean up is easy. It also makes the coffee and espresso faster than our old machines did. The aroma button makes the coffee much stronger than we thought it would too. We were able to buy a permenant filter online but have had some trouble buying the water filters for it alot of places dont carry them we have had to buy them through a online store that has parts for most of the delnghi line. Those hassles aside we love it.

Excellent 2-in-1 combo

This has definitely lived up to my expectations. I love having the water reservoir as a pull-out so you can store the machine under a cabinet without having to drag it out every time you make regular coffee. And it's one of the first carafes I've ever owned that doesn't drip when you pour from it. If you're a coffee or expression aficionado, you probably won't be happy. But if you're a Mr. Coffee sort you should be quite pleased. Takes less space than two separate machines and looks good. Solid performer.
