Door Handle Front Outer Black Textured Passenger Side for Explorer Mountaineer DHA48872 Fits select: 2002-2010 FORD EXPLORER, 2007-2010 FORD EXPLORER SPORT TRAC

I ordered this for my passenger rear door handle on the outside. The price and service was excellent. It seemed to be a 'universal' type fitting where the manufacturer could use it for the front handle with a lock OR the back handle with no lock. The bolt on the part was in a different spot than my original one (that was okay because the factory holes in my door already had a spot for it, EXCEPT I had to oval out the hole a tad bit bigger for the handle to fit correctly.) I also had to disassemble the factory handle, remove a little piece....then disassemble the new handle and install the piece from the factory handle. It worked fine, but not what I expected. I thought this was supposed to be a no modification simple, 123 swap.
