Equate Acid Reducer Lansoprazole Delayed Release Capsules, 15 mg, 42 Ct, 3 Pk - Treats Frequent Heartburn

I've used lansoprazole for a long time to address acid stomach and acid reflux, but dosage/combo changes sometimes necessary to remain effective. Lansoprazole is taken 30 minutes before breakfast (also just before bed if a health provider recommends as mine did). The evening dose was fine, but if I wait longer than 30 minutes to eat, I begin to feel a bit unwell and headachy. That effect is less with the 15mg OTC dose than the 30mg prescription does. I'm glad Walmart has the 42 count 3-pack available at such a reasonable price, but the packaging is excessive. Much more ecologically sound would be a single plastic bottle preferably without cardboard around it. Walmart does sell 200 ct famotidine in one small bottle which is great. My current regimen is one OTC 20 mg famotidine before bed and one OTC 15 mg lansoprazole in the AM.
