WIFI function Not Longer Supported By Manufacturer

Just receiver this model Battery Tender and attempted to initialize the WIFI function. Google Play Store displayed, "this app isn't available for your device because it was made for an earlier version of Android". I contacted the manufacturer, Deltran USA LLC, and received the following reply, "Dear Customer, The Deltran Connected App is no longer supported. There are no planned updates for the Deltran Connected app to address issues". However, the Wifi indicator on the unit will continue to flash in perpetuity. I am very unhappy with this product.
