I purchased this pan for my daughter who owns a large set of all-clad pans but did not have a 6 quart size. I read that Tramontina stainless is comparable to all clad quality rated by Americas's Test Kitchen. I have to agree! I love this pan. I made soup in it the day it arrived and I now plan on purchasing one for myself. It is a great value at a fraction of the price of all clad.
