There are a lot of great iPad case reviews available online. I did my research and here is what works for our family: My four year-old uses the Griffin Survivor Case. It is a phenomenally protective case that has saved his iPad from more than one accident. My ten year-old daughter wanted a protective case, but one far less utilitarian looking than the Survivor. The Rokform met her needs. It is cool looking and comes in several colors. It also has quite a few options that can purchase separately including a set of magnets for wall mounting. These options are neat, but pricey IMHO. You'll need to purchase these options elsewhere too. I was not able to find them on WalMart.com. Unlike the Survivor, the Rokform does not have built-in screen protection. It does comes with a stick-on screen protector. My daughter has not dropped her iPad yet, but I am hopeful that the Rokform hardcase will offer decent protection. However, I suspect the Survivor might transfer less shock to the iPad due to the soft rubber along the edges. Bottom line for me: The Rokform looks great and offers decent protection for an older child. If you need more protection, consider the Survivor
