Great tub, bad drain.

I bought this tub 3 years ago and always had a problem with drain. How do I get another rubber gasket for drain or is their an after market replacement I can buy?

Not the best design, but here's a tip...

Stopper started leaking a a few years ago, but I think I just fixed it:  1) Unscrew the whole "toe tapper" stopper module from the drain.  2) Unscrew the decorative plastic cap that holds the rubber gasket in from the clicker piece.  3) Remove gasket and wipe all the parts clean.  4) Using a flat screwdriver, screw the big brass screw down all the way through the clicker.  The brass threads on the bottom should extend out about 1/4".  Mine had retracted, keeping the drain from going down all the way and hence the leaking.  4) Leaving the decorative top cap off, screw the clicker unit back in the drain, tighten snug with a screwdriver.  5) Now, rest the rubber gasket on the clicker, and screw the decorative cap back on snug (it will slip, so you can't get it really tight, but it should't need to be).  My next try will be to add some silicone sealant, but so far, so good.

Buy the metal one, cheaper and better!

They sell a metal version of this which is much more durable and significantly cheaper. BUy that instead. Also not sure who standard overflow drain could be modified Slightly to fit For only a few dollars. Ridiculously expensive part.
