We will be on our second replacement soon......

We like the idea of the touch technology as it is very convenient when your hands are a mess from food prep. We are, however, having our plumber get a second replacement. The first had to be replaced after about 15 months of use. Now it is 8 months later and we need another replacement/fix. The issues we had, and are having again, are the faucet will turn on at random times by itself when no one is near the faucet, not turn on when touched, and randomly not shut off when touched. We are a family of 3 so it is not getting over-used. It is a good thing that Delta has a 5 year warranty. Apparently it is needed.

Great at the Start

Bought this faucet and initially loved it. Having the touch feature is great when you are in the middle of cooking and your hands are full of food/grease. However, after only having it installed fo about 5 months it has started to drip when we leave it on for the touch feature. So now we have to turn it off and cant use the touch feature unless we want to waste water and hear a continual drip/buzzing sound. Not worth the amount we spent to only have it work properly for 5 months.
