If you are expecting to use this as an alternative for using your regular hot water heater, forget it. Although it is good in a pinch, or for a camp it may work for you, but be aware, the water that comes out is luke warm at best. No matter how slow your intake is set to let the water heat up going through the unit, and the lowest output, it does not heat up to any of the temps it says it does. Maybe because it is originally made for 220v as stated on the box it comes in, and the company that makes it rewired it to work on 110v US I don't know. Hooked it up with all the proper requirements and still just luke warm water. For a travel camper, or a setup for rinsing off after a poolside swim would be ok, but don't rely on it to replace the hot water you need for your home, even if it is to pre heat water for washing dishes, it is still a waste. The one positive thing I can say is if you get the unit that includes it's own shower head, the shower head itself is nice and can produce a nice steady amount of water with a minimal amount of water pressure.

Maybe it's just a 220 volt product with a 110 plug swapped on but it doesn't get hot at all even when lowering water pressure down to the slowest the device will come on. I would buy one make for 120 volts .
