Solid Monitor For General Computing

I've deployed roughly 150 of these 27" monitors for two companies that I support, going back to 2015. I've never had one go bad. Some of the employees I support have bought these for personal use after using them at work. There are brighter, crisper monitors out there, but not at this price. For general purpose computing, these monitors are work horses. I'm writing this review while using a VE278H that I bought several years ago. The image brightness and color of this 4 year old monitor are indistinguishable from the brand new ones I install. The built-in speakers are adequate for listening to basic audio at a modest volume, which is all that I need for a work environment. If you're looking for high quality audio, then buy separate speakers. My only knock on these monitors is that the buttons are on the bottom edge of the monitor, where they're not visible. This makes it a little confusing when trying to change settings on the monitor (source, brightness, volume, etc.)
