I didn't measure the surface charge it arrived with, but instead hooked it up to the Battery Tender Jr. for about 2 days before installing it. I keep my bike on the Tender whenever not in use, in order to aid with battery health, but nevertheless, this very affordable alternative to standard lead acid powersports batteries seems to be doing a great job! Easy, strong starts every time.
