I wanted this unit given its small size and intended it to transfer photos from my flip phone LG 450 which does not support a wired USB connection. (USB is for power only). Other companies advertising claims the VP6495 works with XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 as does the package with the installation CD. (Walmart web site gives no specifications but Walmart had them in stock) I was delighted with Walmart's store pickup and even happier that the installation with the CD was simpler than promised in the instructions. The unit does the job perfectly with my Dell laptop running Windows 10.

Purchased this bluetooth adapter to stream music from my PC to a bluetooth speaker in my son's nursery. The 4.0 has excellent range and strength, 80ft vs 30ft for 2.0, so I use the same speaker in the bedroom down the hall, and even downstairs. These things are strangely hard to find, so had to order this little gem from the website and use ship-to-store, which arrived sooner than predicted. Install and setup are easy if you know what you're doing, and it's low profile, so I imagine it wouldn't stick out of a laptop far enough to be broken easily. The price for this better model is barely more than the 2.0s available at Best Buy, and way less than Staples or Office Depot.
