wonderful book, a MUST READ!

I will be honest, I am a picky reader. I love romance novels, but they must be well written. My favorite authors are Judith McNaught, Julia Quinn and Eloisa James. Still, I dont just blindly buy, read, and love all the books by these authors. I have been less than thrilled with some of their books, and giddy with joy at others. Once Upon A Tower, is a book that makes me very happy. The hero is a Scottish man in a Kilt. Ofcourse the girl is beautiful, but she has quirks and talents. This book is about their path to discovery, adjusting to marriage when it isnt all the stuff of dreams and rainbows. Eloisa James does her research, and she delivers a well written story with deep characters, both primary and secondary. The characters seem like real people, flaws and all. Its a rich story, told with humor, and a great deal of writing talent. This book is worth the price because it is substantial and satisfying. 5 stars!!!!

Once Upon a Tower there was Sir Gowan and Lady Edi. Sir Gowan was a strapping Scottish Laird and Lady Edi was a Musical prodigy. They met by chance at a ball. They married before they truly knew each other. Now The Scottish Laird must get his lady love to come out of Tower so he can prove that there really are HAE's. This is the story of a couples way to happily ever after. I loved the hero and heroine as well as the secondary characters.
