It's a kettle, there's not much more to it. You can fit about 32 oz of water in there (though when it boils that much water it tends to bubble out of the spout), and it pours nicely. If you keep the handle in the upright position it doesn't get too hot, but if you try to pour out the last drop the lid will probably fall off, so it's good to restrain it in some way.

Lightweight and indestructible!

I've had a Glacier kettle as part of my basic cookset for probably close to a decade at this point, and haven't ever had anything but nice things to say about it. There are a lot of basic kettles out there - thousands, probably - but this one rattle-free when stowed, and happens to nest nicely in my 1.6L MSR Stowaway.

Fantastic little kettle for camping, maybe even backpacking

I love this nice, bomber little kettle. We use it regularly when camping. Nice, quick boil, classy construction and appearence. I wouldn't change a thing though I'd consider buying an additional larger version to add for larger groups. Great for pour-over and aeropress users or just making cocoa for the kids.
