I am always skeptical when trying any "quick fix" I bought this out of desperation as my puppy is an indoor dog that has to be home while I am away at work, and began tearing her puppy pads, it's been a week of spritzing this on the pads before putting them down and she's not torn a single one, this also worked on a chair that she's been just starting to put her teeth into, I'm sure it doesn't work for everyone, but for a pup that has her own chew things and no real behavior problems yet, as a preventative to her learning the "joy" of ripping a chair cushion to bits, this has been like a miracle, she still uses the potty pads when she needs to wee while I'm away, but has yet to tear them. as a nip/playbite deterrent it's not so effective, as it smells strongly and she's just careful to avoid tasting it. 10/10 imo though, I will probably continue to buy and use.
