Meets all ul 498 "hospital grade" requirements, federal specifications wc-596. Grounding system isolated from common building ground. Triple wipe line contacts provide excellent long-term plug retention. Double wipe ground contacts; one-piece design; reinforced by face and back body to ensure long-term ground retention. High impact-resistant thermoplastic mounting strap, face and back body. Easy access split circuit break-off tab. Automatic ground will ensure wall plate grounding in grounded metal enclosure. Face/body assembled with dual drive pins for superior assembly security. Back and side wire terminals accept #14, #12 or #10 solid or stranded wire. Terminal screws backed out; ready for wiring. Combination slot/phillips head mounting and terminal screws ease installation with power screwdrivers. 20 amp, 125 volt.
