Hue system = superior functionality

The Hue system is an investment, so be prepared to shell out some $$ for it. On the upside, I literally have had it for years, and I've not had a problem with it. I keep adding components to my bridge, of which the latest is the outdoor lighting. Yes, of course, it fails during a power outage, but resets to "on" after the power is restored. I will say, when this happens, your lights may come back on and stay on until you reset them. The configuration for this isn't always functional, but overall, the performance of the Hue system is outstanding - configurable, secure and expansive. My only wish is that the "OnSwitch" app would be integrated with the lighting options and not a separate app purchase. Or something similar to OnSwitch would be acceptable. Otherwise, highly reco Hue systems. Great products!

Be careful about investing in Hue products

These lights are okay. But the app is fairly lousy. Absolutely not intuitive and even after using it for years, I struggle to get it to do what I want. I'm considering ditching my many hue lights because of the app.
