Seymour Grass Whip is a model of low-tech function

I bought a Murray lawn mower from WalMart for $169.00 and mowed the lawn ONCE before it refused to start. It is now at the local small engine repair shop: who knows what the repair will cost or when it will be returned? Not me. So I ordered the decidedly low- tech Seymour Grass Whip which for 12 bucks is working well enough and training my swing for mini golf. Go figure.

Needs a few adjustments before using.

When I first use it, I noticed that it was more work than the last grass whip that I owned. The problem was that there is too much paint over the cutting edge. I used a torch to burn off the paint, then cooled it in water and repainted it with a very light coat of primer. Now it works great. You can also just resharpen the grooves with a round file to get the heavy paint off. Any way that you do it, it needs to be done before it works well for you. Other than that, it is a good product for the price. WalMart got it shippe out and to the store fast and without errors.
