as it says it's two separate cages in one so make sure you read that part. The metal is sturdy and as advertised my quarrels with it are that the food and water dishes that attach to the side are easy for the animals to knock off and the bottom crate and tray have no way to secure them unless you create your own and therefore active animals can easily accidentally slide them out and have a way to escape. The instructions are also not very detailed so you have to figure out which screws to use for what since there are two different screw sizes and it's one page with big pictures of everything to do all at once.

The cage does not fit together property and the second cage I can not even assemble because the holes do not go all the way through. customer service has been ridiculous offering a 15% discount when I believe a full refund is in order. World definitely NOT recommend!
