Great Tool

Worked perfectly to extract a compression nut/ferrule from a 1/2" copper pipe. Remove the nut from the bad valve by turning nut clockwise. Turn the nut counter-clockwise to put the nut on the tool. Turn the handle of the tool clockwise to take the nut and ferrule off of the copper pipe.

Slight Modification makes it better.

Worked great, cut off about one inch from handle end and welded a nut to the threaded end. As the tee handle was in line with the sink drain pipe and no room to rotate. With the nut instead I could turn it with a socket and extension.
