Finding an Oasis
According to the locals, the city I've just moved to (Phoenix) has notoriously horrid water. I honestly couldn't tell the difference from where I used to live (Houston), but that might also be an idictment of the water back there (or my compete lack of standards when it comes to water). In any case, I heeded their warnings and installed a whole house filter system. It actually did make a difference! There is a difference in taste, but the real difference is all those contaminats that it removes. It's a bit surreal that I'm getting the best water I've ever had in my life after moving to the middle of a giant desert, but it is what it is :)

This is the best!! They shipped my order quickly and well-packed. We got it installed quite easily but we encountered a small problem with one of the filters restricting the water flow. Delivered in perfect condition
I'm a little weary of shopping online, so as I placed my order for Express Water's Whole House Heavy Metal Filtration System I was hoping for the best, but my past experiences kept me expecting the worst. They shipping process went off without a hitch. It was sent out and delivered exactly when it was estimated to do so. It arrived at my doorstep in a sturdy-looking box... so far so good. I open it up, and to my pleasant suprise I see a neatly and securely packaged system with parts, awaiting assembly. As I said earlier, I have some experience with water filtration systems in the past, so set-up was a breeze. However, if you're a first-timer, don't fret. These system are designed to be DIY for everyone. And if you do come across a problem, they openly provide an email and phone number for support. I haven't called them but I have no reason to expect that their customer service will be any worse than the quality of the system I recieved. Anyway, with assembly and set-up totally done, I checked my water. I ran it through a few tests checking TDS and cloriform. TDS was down to single digits and cloriform came back negative. Let's see how my water quality evolves over time, but so far this has been a massive success.
